Another week has gone by and here again is my weekly update.
My last day of work for this year was Tuesday. The call centre that I work in made the decision to transfer the phones to our other location over the Christmas Holidays so that all of us could enough time off. I return to work on January 5, 2009.
I finished my Christmas shopping this morning. I had thought I was done yesterday, but I had gotten the wrong size in one gift so I had to try a different store for the right size.
I am spending most of the next 3 days out at Selena and Curtis'. They graciously agreed to host the "Bell" Christmas this year. Grant will be joining us as he can around his work schedule.
Plans are still coming along for our wedding at the end of January. Mostly we just have little things left to do, so it's pretty stress free.
That's all I have for this week's update.

Well, another week has come and gone, and it's time for my weekly update.
The weather here has been very, very cold. We were in a windchill warning all weekend, and temperatures have been slowly warming up. I hope that it will be nicer next week for Christmas, as we are driving back and forth to Selena's.
We finally have the cake ordered for the wedding. When I walked into the cake shop a week earlier, I saw the cake that I wanted (with a few variations) and it's within our price range. It's always nice to check things off the list.
Grant inquired today about getting a parking spot at his building. Unfortunately, all the spots are currently being rented (26 spots for 52 suites). The resident manager told him that he will be next to get one when comes open. This could make the rest of the winter very interesting if we are only able to park on the street and not be able to plug the car in. Apparently, there is permit that we can get from the City that will allow us to park on the street in front of his place (except overnight during the winter due to it being a snow route). Normally between the hours of 9 am & 5 pm, it is 1 hour parking on his street. Here's hoping that someome will give up a parking spot soon.
There hasn't been much else going on here. One would think that with only 5 weeks 3 days to the wedding that I'd have too much to do, without enough time to do it in, but that's not the case. Hopefully I haven't forgotten anything.
I'm still working on my goals. I don't have any more of them completed. I'll update when I do (some of them should be completed soon I hope).

Here again is my weekly update.
I went to see my family doctor on Thursday. He called me in to discuss the ultrasound results that were sent to him. He has referred my to a general surgeon, with the thoughts that I might have to have my gall bladder removed. I'm hoping that it doesn't come to that and that they can just break up with sound waves. (I've that is a new way to treat gall stones)
Saturday was my work holiday party. Grant and I both had a good time, and enjoyed the great food. After the dinner, we had a dance and karaoke. They gave out a couple of door prizes. Grant won the "romantic package", which has chocolates, wine, massage oil, wine glasses, candles, a CD and a night at the Inn at the Forks. It will be great to use that for a relaxing night sometime after the wedding. I also won 200 minutes of lay down tanning from a local tanning salon. I was wanting to do tanning before the wedding, so this will make it easier.
It's beginning to look more and more like winter here in Winnipeg. It's amazing how many drivers don't adjust their driving habits with for the weather conditions. Maybe I'm just too cautious when driving on snow and ice, but so many people fly past me. Drives me crazy.
It's hard believe that it's only 44 days until the wedding. Seems like so much, yet so little time.

Completed 2 Goals
Yesterday, I was able to cross 2 of my goals off my list.
#12 - Buy a new computer (with cash) - my computer died on Tuesday. It wouldn't even turn on. I was already thinking of buying a new computer soon, so this just bumped it up a little. I decided to get a laptop, given the size of Grant's apartment (which is where we will be living after the wedding).
#87 - Purchase a good printer - when I bought the laptop, they were having a special that when you buy a new desktop or laptop computer, you can purchase an HP 3 in 1 printer for only 30 dollars. So, I took advantage of that deal, and I now have a printer, scanner and copier.
I'll do my weekly update on Tuesday.

It's time again for my weekly blog update.
Not much has happened this week.
I got the ultrasound results. I do have gallstones. I don't find that they are bothering me too much, but sometimes they act up. I'm trying to have one meal a day as a "clear liquid" meal, to try and give my body a rest. Seems to working ok so far.
I haven't made any progress on the roses this week. Too many early mornings with late nights, or I wasn't at home.
Grant and I went for a date night on Saturday. We went to Kelsey's for supper, and then went to the cheap theater and watched "Righteous Kill". It was a very good movie, and I highly recommend it. I won't spoil it for anyone though.
Sunday, we went out to Carman for church and our final session with Wayne and Collette before the wedding. This session was basically just a little exercise to see what kinds of personalities we have and how compatible our personalities are. Turns out that we compliment each other very well.
We had to rush in from Carman (cause we left late), to have supper with Grant's family. We met at Mongo's Grill at Kenaston and McGillvary. The food there is FABULOUS. You basically walk through and choose your veggies, meats, noodles and sauces, then they cook the food right there in front of you. It was amazing. I very highly recommend it.
This Saturday is my work holiday party, and Grant and I are both looking forward to it. I'll post about that next week.
