I know I'm a little late on my weekly update, but it's been very busy the last couple of days.
Friday, I ended up leaving work early and headed to the emergency room. I had been experiencing some chest pains, and my co-workers all figured that I shouldn't be at work, and were encouraging me to go. It turns out that I may have gall stones (have to wait for the ultra sound to prove it).
Saturday, my maid of honour arrived into town. We spent the weekend working on wedding stuff. I'm handmaking my favours, so we got to work on those. I'm about 40% of the way done them.
Today, I went out to Steinbach to have another fitting for my dress. It now fits perfectly.
Tomorrow, I have my ultrasound to see if I really do have gall stones.
Work is going good. Things are slowing down for the holiday season, but that is normal in this industry.
As for my 101 in 1001 project, I have made a few changes to some of my goals, as I realized that they weren't worded right to begin with.
Here's an update on some of the goals:
#79 - Try a new restaurant every 2 months - I actually have tried two new restaurants already this month, and will be trying another one on Sunday. I'm only going to count one of them though. Grant took my to the Royal Crown Revolving Restaurant for my birthday. We went for the lunch buffet. The food was very good, and of course there were way too many choices. The view was spectacular. It's amazing how big Winnipeg really is. There was never a point where you could tell where the city ended. I highly recommend trying it sometime.
#84 - Donate 100,100 grains of rice on freerice.com - To date, I have only donated 700 grains of rice, but I keep forgetting to go to the site everyday. I'm going to add a new bookmark in my "Daily" folder in Firefox, so that I remember to do this more often.
Those are the only goals that really have any progress at this point. Keep checking back for more.
