I Give Up

You'll notice that I've taken my 101 in 1001 list off of my blog. I've made the decision not to continue with the list at this time. I was beginning to feel very overwhelmed by some of the items on my list, and felt that they were ones that would never get completed. Some of the items on my list did get completed, but they were the simple ones that I put on there.

Instead, what I'm going to try to do is to set daily and weekly goals for myself. If I get a chance, I'll post them on here at the beginning of the week, and report back as to how they went.

I'm still feeling very frustrated about everything. Sometimes I just don't know what to do.

It's good that you completed some of the items on your list, even if they were the 'easy' ones. It's important to set yourself goals that you can do. If you only set really difficult goals you will get frustrated when you don't see immediate results. At the same time you shouldn't just set easy goals. Give yourself a challenge too. Make it a challenge that is within reason. Keep trying. Not everything comes easy. Ask for help when you need it. I'm sure there are many people who would be willing to help, but you have to ask. Good luck.

I'm sorry you feel frustrated with your goals. A list of 101 things would feel very daunting, but being able to check things off is a good thing. I would be interested to see your weekly goals, even if it is just so you tell someone your goal. I think it's important for someone to know your goals. Please don't give up on your goals. Your list was inspiring, so even if you don't complete the list in the time frame you set, please keep doing it. I personally like seeing a blog post every week. Let me know if you need a cheerleader. I can cheer from Saskatoon for you. Yay Stacy!!!

I agree with Joyce. Start with a small list that you can actually finish in a week and then maybe you can do a bigger one later. Goals are important. You don't have to do everything at once or be a failure. Give yourself credit for doing the things you do. I can be a cheerleader too! Thanks for posting!
